CM Forum event no2 took place on april 23rd at Saab EDS. After attending insightful presentations by Saab EDS CM strategists, the 25 CM Forum participants engaged in the workshop discussion How can CM enable business downstream?

If you missed the kick-off last week, take a look at the presentation on CM FORUM background and mission statement here below. All the presentations from the workshop are now available in the Resources section together with the list of participants and the not yet (but soon to be) processed workshop outputs.

All 45 seats for the kick-off on march 5th are filled. Having extracted the statistics of the questionare that has been sent out to the attendants we can conclude that there is good spread between operative – strategic roles, between different industry sectors and between experiences of working with CM using different development models. See the graphs below (maybe unfortunate for some that we made the questionare in Swedish …).

A very productive preparation meeting for event no2 took place at Saab EDS yesterday. The purpose of the meeting was to formulate a workshop theme and agenda for the 2nd event.

The workshop will address the question: How can CM enable business downstream?

To give context to our discussion and provide us with very real and tangible examples in relation to this workshop theme, Saab EDS will introduce us to their current CM function and its challenges and opportunities. The event will take place at Saab EDS in Järfälla outside Stockholm on april 23rd. Registering for the event will be possible after the Kick-off on march 5th.
